To Amend Our Topics of Interest
Our topics of interest can be called to discussion and amended at any point in our movement’s life cycle, by an 80% vote of our membership. To achieve this, a member must simply propose a “VOTE: Discussion of Topics” on our forum. If this VOTE receives an 80% approval from our entire membership, then our Board of Directors is called into emergency discussion with our Advisory Council to discuss our memberships’ concerns with our current topics of interest and the potential integration of new topics. This discussion is left open for a period of 30 days, which is concluded by a reiteration or change of topics. The Board of Directors “Response” is formally posted on the forum, whereby our membership votes on the proposed changes. A simple majority vote is sufficient and necessary to warrant acceptance of the new topics or amendments proposed.
While this review is in session, our staff continues to work on the previously promulgated/formulated topics of interest.
