Intervention Insights is a company that works with your physician team to help integrate a personalized approach to defeating your cancer.

GeneGo’s MetaCore technology is used by industry professionals and physicians to analyze the molecular profile’s of patients to discover therapy combinations beneficial for those specific patients.  They offer this Pathway Analysis (they look at the molecular signaling that goes on WITHIN cells) technology as a license to physicians, academics, or any other individual, as well provide this as a service to physicians / others (mainly for terminal patients) where they analyze and recommend therapies.

N-of-One is a “cancer consulting” team of MD / PhDs who work with your medical team to provide you with personal care, gearing treatment suggestions your specific illness.  The concept of N-of-One is their work is based on the premise that YOU are the only patient they focus on (stemming from the “N”, sample size, of a study).

This organization focuses on finding clinical trials, helping patients gain access to experimental therapies through Expanded Access and/or compassionate use protocols, as well as doing their own research and lobbying.

This is a drug discovery firm who “repositions” drugs into cocktail therapies for new indications / uses.  The President of this company mentioned about 1/3 of the therapies are generic, 1/3 are almost about to lose their patent, and 1/3 are in investigational trials (from what I recall).

A drug discovery firm generally develops new drugs or therapeutic combinations for pharmaceutical sponsors, who the drug discovery firm will usually license their “chemical entity” to for further clinical validation (clinical trials) and marketing/distribution.
